A product with over 40 years of provenance, the Planar 2 is a modern classic. A recent redesign means the Planar 2 is now a something of a bargain. The Rega Planar 2 has several features that give it a performance upgrade over the Planar 1. The most obvious of these features is the float glass platter because of the improved flywheel effect. This gives the turntable better speed stability.
The Planar 2 also has an improved counterweight on the arm and comes complete with a Rega carbon MM cartridge fitted as standard.
Understated yet sophisticated looks adorn a solid deck designed without compromise. A multiple award winner, and rightly so.

The RB220 tonearm is packed with groundbreaking new features designed to enhance performance and make setup extremely simple. The RB220 incorporates Rega designed ultra-low friction bearings (Patent Pending), housed within a brand new, stiffer and lightweight bearing housing. This was developed with new updated adjustable bias (as of Autumn 2020) allowing greater flexibility and compatibility with a wide range of cartridges The new housing also includes an integrated arm clip and uses Rega’s latest custom aluminium arm tube.
