MUSIC, BOOKS AND GENERAL MERCHANDISE
Postage prices are a function of the size/weight of individual items, the combination of items in a basket and the delivery options selected. For all items other than tickets, postage costs are based on all goods being sent together. This means that if your basket includes a pre-order (album or book not yet released/published) and items in stock, we will wait until we have all the goods i.e. the release date of the pre-ordered item, before sending your goods to you. If you purchase tickets and music in a combined order, your tickets will be sent separately, and the basket page will prompt you to select your preferred ticket as well as non-ticket delivery options.
This price of postage is calculated and displayed on Jumbo website basket page and updated as you add items and change postage options. The calculations default to the assumption on UK destination. For overseas deliveries, please change the Postal Region at the top of the basket page. If you require overseas delivery but do not change the Postal Region, then you will be charged just UK based postage and we will ask you for the balance of postage payment before dispatching your goods. Please note that for goods going overseas, our website does not calculate and include local taxes specific to the destination country and you may be liable for further charges over and above the prices presented on our website.
If you change delivery option on the basket page – e.g. from shop collect to post, or upgrading to “signed for”, you need to then select “update basket” to confirm the changes and see the re-calculation of the charges.
For items ordered that shown on our website as being “in stock”, we will endeavour to dispatch by the next day latest and your items will be delivered to you in line with the Royal Mail service selected. For items for which we are waiting on a re-stock, the website will state “dispatched in 3-5” days i.e. allowing time the out delivery before we send your ordered item to you. Pre-orders will be dispatched to arrive with you on or shortly after the Release Date (which is displayed on all music items). Please keep in mind all items in a single basket checkout are dispatched together, so it includes two pre-orders then the records will be sent on the date of the one with the latest release date. If you want the records to be sent separately, please place separate orders.
For information on what to do if your parcel does not arrive and the levels of insurance provided, please refer to the terms and conditions. For higher value purchases, we advise you to select the “signed for” upgrade which increases the level of insurance and provides more sophisticated tracking in line with the Royal Mail postal products selected. All goods going overseas will be automatically sent as tracked items.
