Masterpiece. A word that shouldn’t be used lightly but is certainly relevant to Dylan’s latest album. Dylan’s poetic wisdom came at the most necessary time this year. The epic ‘Murder Most Foul’ shows how, in difficult times, music is a lullaby, a saviour. That’s certainly how I’ve felt about Dylan’s album this year. The album is rich with cultural references and 2020 feels like the perfect time to listen to Dylan’s gruff homages to the greats.
