I imagine the writers of Peaky Blinders love their music and must have had so much fun putting together this collection of amazing tracks and commissioning artists like Anna Calvi to create original songs for it.

I was late coming to the Peaky Blinders, but I love it. I cannot think of a TV series where the music is such an inherent part of the vibe....that recurring "Red Right Hand" groove is just "tingling".

So this 3xLP is just sensational. So many of my favorite artists are featured...Nick Cave of course, Jack White, Dan Auerbach, PJ Harvey, BRMC, Royal Blood....it goes on and on...did I mention David Bowie?

Some of the tracks are tee'd up by some of the iconic lines from the series. The production is superb + for fans of the Peaky Blinders this is a great package with photos and pics from the series and some of the history behind the real life characters the series is loosely based upon.

Whether you've seen the series or not, this is just a superb collection of music. If you haven't, then after listening to this album I guarantee you'll be seeking it out on i-Player:-)
