Release date: 22.08.2011

Further Information

Excellent debut album from Widowspeak, mixing '60s garage / psych, 1950s rock'n'roll and Morricone-esque touches into sparse, moody pop songwriting. Trace a line through Velvet Underground, Mazzy Star, Drugstore, Veronica Falls and Anna Calvi: Widowspeak continue that heritage. Another winner from Captured Tracks Records.
