Another addition to Gale's expanding body of work which this time covers grief and loss and it's effects on mental health. It's strength lies in it's pureness of approach, unafraid to get it all out and into the world.
Like Gale's other brilliant DIY albums it's a combination of cover versions and originals based around the 80's synth-wave and goth genres yet it's raw amateurness holds a magical creativity and expansive musicality that ties right back into it's honesty.
This is easily Gales best album yet and for those that haven't caught the Gale bug like I have then you really need to give this a listen, this is the kind of Private Press album that you know will get the credit it deserves eventual, probably on an expensive repress. His vocals are so tender and heartfelt, his lyricism is immediate and the compositions are genius.
For fans of Gary Newman, Sisters Of Mercy, early Ultravox and obscure Private Pressers of the 80's.
