Aetere deliver a mesmerizing take on ethereal doomgaze, combining slow burning doom, spectral vocals, droning synths, shoegaze textures and ritualistic atmospheres into a deeply immersive and cinematic experience. The debut album, ‘Théogonie’, balances meditative heaviness with dreamlike soundscapes, moving through darkness, melancholy and transcendence. Featuring Alice Ronzini of Ailise Blake and Johan Sebenne of Year of No Light and Lacustre, Aetere create a distinctive and hypnotic sound that bridges doom, shoegaze, drone, post punk and experimental atmospherics. Mastered by Dirk Serries (Vidna Obmana), ‘Théogonie’ is an essential release for listeners drawn to atmospheric and emotionally immersive heavy music.
