This album is a collection of traditional love songs of England And Scotland and two songs inspired by this type of song, Many of the songs were taken from the book 'The Seeds Of Love' published by the English Folk Dance and Song Society in 1967.

Sam's new album and as per usual he doesn't disappoint. His work around traditional U.K. folk and U.S. country roots has seen him regularly tour the U.S.A and Europe and spread the 'Yorkshire-cana' style far and wide. Sam is simply something else and pretty much a torch bearer for the folk scene, introducing the style to so many people, young and old, who wouldn't normally even consider it, turning on people to a history they never even knew about. This album is a doozy and Sam adds to his ever growing releases without ever letting go of the quality. Highly Recommended and loved by all and sundry including Uncut, 6Music and of course every folk/country magazine going. A true troubadour in all senses of the word
