The Beggar’s Folk Music Foundation presents ‘Sarah - Life Turned Her That Way’ A Folk Musical based on a true Anglo-Irish story about the turbulent life of Sarah Kelly.

The story is told from her abduction from Kent to Ireland at only 15 years old, to a life of desolation and prostitution on the streets of Dublin, her subsequent rise to become one of Irelands wealthiest landowners, to her violent and unsolved murder in 1856. This true story is told through music by combining traditional, contemporary and especially commissioned songs, all splendidly accompanied by narration throughout. The Story is performed by a dedicated community of musicians and singers.
