Montreal's No Joy have been pushing the boundaries of shoegaze for over ten years. From EDM, to metal, to veering into a staggering, melancholic tapestry of fuzzy, 90s/early 2000s nu metal and trip hop, they've done a lot. Now, on their latest album Bugland, they ask the question 'is it even shoegaze when it could live happily on a shelf next to Boards of Canada and Autechre?' The right answer is ‘yes’ but find out for yourself when they return to Leeds for a special headline
