A beautiful astute reworking of Stockhausen's 'Klavierstuck VI' via fledgling German imprint 'Pliast'. The A-side matches the atonal abandon of the original, whilst the flip takes the essence of the composition into more reflective terrain. Both pieces are a sublime (mis)match; illustrating the tonal dichotomies buried within Stockhausen's work, the erstwhile primitiveness of early synthesis, and the seemingly endless drift of modern production. VERY LIMITED.
