Dean Hurley, famed for his sound-design work on every David Lynch film post-Inland Empire, continues his run of great collaborative LPs (following this year's 'In Every Dream Home a Heartache' with Romance) with 'Oceans of Time' - a dream-pop belter feat Gloria De Oliveira on vocals. Lynch's influence here is indelible, with clear nods to golden-era 4AD acts like This Mortal Coil and Cocteau Twins, but thankfully 'Oceans of Time' doesn't drown in its influences.
