Felt is both a continuation and rebirth, a more relaxed and free version of Suun. They transcend Quebec’s string-swept, accordion-driven, choral chamber indie scene, blending post-techno, jazz and electronica into their already unique sound. ‘Felt’, breaks with Suuns’ earlier darkness for a more optimistic ambience, creating a sound that is both playful and meaningful.

This latest offering from Quebec-born 4-piece, Suuns (pronounced “soons”) might be the most original art-rock missive of the past 5-10 years! ‘Felt’ is a dystopic comedown, a mashed-up motoric nightmare, an electro-punk whisper, a no-wave sparkler… A masterpiece? Think Clinic, Slint, Stereolab, Neu, Radiohead, early Output/Trevor Jackson, HEALTH and the kind of post-punk that slid down the walls of CBGB’s in the late 70’s. There’s something for everyone in these grooves. Crack on.
