Extremely limited hand numbered + stamped debut 7” single from THE NONE, a band comprising bassist Gordon Moakes (Bloc Party, Young Legionnaire), vocalist Kai Whyte (Blue Ruth, Youth Man), guitarist Jim Beck (Cassels) and drummer Chris Francombe (Frauds). At Hope is a stark collision of unfiltered noise and striking melody. Equal parts chaos and craft, THE NONE’s sound channels the edges of post-hardcore with the weight of something more introspective. The 7” is backed by In Civic Pride and is released via new label ZENNOR. The limited run of 250 copies will be hand numbered and feature printed label art by the band. The debut 7” follows two self-released digital EPs – MATTER (August 2024) and CARE (January 2025) – and a slew of radio plays and press coverage. Following their debut shows in February 2024, THE NONE have quickly built a reputation as a formidable live band – racking up shows with the likes of Mannequin Pussy, Les Savy Fav, Metz and The Jesus Lizard.
